Houses have multiple siding finishes which make mounting house numbers onto a little bit daunting. But with Easy-Digits House Numbers and our mounting system, we make it easy for you to install Metal house numbers.

There are several types of surfaces you may want to install your house numbers onto. This includes Stucco, Hardie Board, Wood, Cultured rock, Brick, Concrete, Stone, Vinyl and Metal. You can install most of these right into our hardware, but some will require backing or wood blocking. We will explain this in detail below.

Behind vinyl siding is sometimes foam board insulation followed by plywood or just plywood. When drilling into the vinyl, use a new or sharp drilling bit and make sure you go into the plywood. Following our mounting instructions at Easy-Digits is all you need to do. You can find this under the resources tab. We typically don’t recommend the spacers for the pins as the vinyl siding will be uneven in some areas. You can set the distance away from the siding annually.

When installing Concrete, Stone/Rock, Brick, or Cultured stone, the main concern is having the proper tools. You will definitely need a masonry bit for your drill. And a hammer drill will make drilling go much quicker. After the holes are drilled, blow out the debris, fill it with silicon, and push the numbers into place. Again, following our mounting instructions at Easy-Digits is all you need to do. You can find this under the resources tab. The spacer hardware can be used on these surfaces if they are flat or even. If not, you will need to space it by hand manually.

When installing house numbers on metal siding, follow the instructions in our installation guide at Easy-Digits. The only concern with metal siding is you will need some sort of blocking behind the metal for the numbers to mount onto. Pre planning this is important and should be done in the early stages of building the home.

Installing house numbers on Stucco siding is easy with Easy-Digits mounting hardware. Just drill through the stucco, through the foam, and into the plywood. Our 3″ long pins will reach the plywood for a solid mount. Just follow the instructions in our installation guide at Easy-Digits.

With Easy Digits House Numbers, we use a mounting system so that all of our products can be installed onto any surface. If you need further assistance, do not hesitate to call or email our team. We will be glad to help you with your project.
